Our Mission
Muslim Community Association of Mohawk Valley, also known as Utica Masjid, is a vibrant multi-ethnic community center that serves the local community through religious, educational, and charitable endeavors.

In 2008, we dreamed of making Utica Masjid self-reliant after the completion of the new masjid. Inshallah!

In 2023, we launched a 10 year Utica Masjid Waqf/Endowment!

Fighting Hunger

First 10 years of our inception. We distributed more than 2000 cooked meals.

The number of meals every year was increased with the generosity of our community, and we were able to serve 5000 cooked meals annually.

Fighting hunger one meal at a time, our meal distribution continues to increasae with meal a time to now 10,000 meals being distributed.

Alhumdullilah with the help of our volunteers all Zakat ul Fitr distributed within few hours of Eid Salah if not before Salah.
Education - A Universal Right!

Responding to increased demand, Utica Masjid partnered with ICNA Relief to start the distribution of 300 School bags with supplies right at the heart of Utica in Utica City Hall

Thanks to the generosity of our community and ICNA Relief. We increased the number of book bags and supplies to 500. Alhumdullilah!

Third year in a row right at Utica City Hall - Number of book bags and supplies increased to 820!!
-
We're now distributing about 1,000 book bags containing supplies, despite the COVID 19 Pandemic. Alhumdullilah!!

Numbers continue to increase, now a little over 1100 bags and supplies were distributed!!!

Despite torrential rain and weather conditions, over 1200 book bags with supplies were distributed.
-
This year we continue to fulfill more than 1250 book bags with supplies.

This year we reach highest number of book bags with supplies more than 1500!!!!
